My works are mixed of printing and other painting materials such as collage, acrylic and color pencil. The source of my inspiration is from Persian history and Iran the country that I was born and my family .

I am Alsace-Lorraine Touré. I am a self-taught artist with twelve years painting experience. My mission is to create art that is thought-provoking, inspiring, and visually stimulating. I try to find meaning in all aspects of life, and love painting with bright, bold colors, especially blue. I enjoy using soft acrylic and fluid paints, resin, and wood. Words used to describe my art are tranquil, bold, and innovative.
I’ve been making photographs since the 70’s when I studied photography and printmaking at The Ohio State University. I work almost exclusively with black and white film using a variety of cameras. I do all my own darkroom work producing silver gelatin prints on fiber-based photographic papers. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in Art from the University of Montevallo, Montevallo, Alabama and a Master of Fine Art in Studio Art from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida.
