The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
I was born in Columbus, Ohio, and have lived here for the past 40 years. I was an Air Force brat so I have traveled across the country as well as a long stay in Germany. I have always written poetry and I’ve always been interested in the arts. It has been in the last two years that I have taken on the challenge and joy of canvas and acrylics. I am not formally trained, so I consider myself a folk artist. My works include bright acrylics and often I add texture with a compound.
I enjoy using various sizes of canvas, but in many ways, the bigger the better. I continue to grow, but don’t want to lose the innocence of my current works.

I am a folk artist who enjoys working with canvas and acrylics . I enjoy my community and I’m always looking for ways to advance my work, and share my love for Art.
