The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

The newest visual work aligns with bold use of color, playful construction and hand stitching. The cyanotypes are derived from my garden, plants going or being added. I feel my intention is largely a process of visual fixing.

My first volume of poetry Why We Fished has received significant acclaim from the NC Literary Review and the NC Poetry Society. Other poems have appeared in Muleskinner Journal, the Bangalore Review, Poem for Cleveland and Neighborhood Voices.

I started in high school with doodling. I have tried a number of mediums including watercolor, oil pastel, markers, pencils and pens. I found acrylic pouring about 4 years ago and fell in love. I am intrigued by the way the paint moves across the canvas. It is satisfying and thrilling when the paint does what you want. I have worked to be able to manipulate it into really cool designs, through a lot of trial and error. As any pouring artist will tell you, liquid paint has a mind of its own. Pouring takes more practice than people realize, but it is super rewarding. I respect all art, but I do prefer to see things that I otherwise would not be able to see, Like an amazing pour
