The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
ZÉ KIELWAGEN is an artist from Brazil based in Oberlin, Ohio. His artwork circulates internationally in venues such as the Ghetto Biennale of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Rio de Janeiro Museum of Modern Art; Queens Museum in New York; DocLisboa Festival of Portugal; Open Source Gallery in New York; and others. He works as an Assistant Professor at the Studio Art Department of Oberlin College.
Artist Statement
My practice is transmedia and conceptual, grounded in sustained research on queerness, spirituality and socialism. I work across a range of media, according to the needs of each project, with recurring use of video, sculpture and social practice.
