Cliff Lewis works with milled and scavenged wood, blown glass, and found objects, exploring themes of ancestry, mortality, and transformation. A descendant of carpenters, clockmakers, and windmill builders, his creative life is grounded in a deep lineage of craftsmanship. Rob Ley’s work explores the dynamic interplay between form, material, and motion, creating moments that invite reflection and engagement. Grounded in a sensitivity to site, his projects respond to the character and context of place, probing how scientific and natural phenomena are perceived and represented. Recurring throughout his practice is an interest in the aggregation of elements—compositions that remain open to interpretation and often shift dramatically based on time, perspective, or proximity.
Chris Leyva is a playwright and director based in Columbus, OH. As a frequent collaborator and educator with CATCO, CLIMB Theatre, Hixon Dance, and MadLab Theatre, he is happiest when uncovering the potential in a project or a person.
Nancy Lick is an award-winning artist who works in a variety of media including watercolor, collage and printmaking. She had a BFA from Kent State University and a MA from Ursuline College. She has taught drawing and design courses for Ursuline College, Cuyahoga Community College, Baldwin Wallace University, Notre Dame College, and is currently teaching at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
Richard Lillash is a Columbus-based artist and illustrator. Lillash creates vivid paintings employing active brushwork and saturated color. Rich explores his environments through the physical act of painting, sometimes referred to as a “painter’s painter.” Working across landscape and still life, his observational painting breaks down light, form, and color into distinct brushstrokes, hinting at the building blocks that make up the world around us.
I have always been a visual person. My art is a reflection of visual exploration and emotional connection. It is a process and a journey. Often I deal with the formal aspects of design and perceptual processes. These are the formal language of visual art. When I do a painting, I often am inspired by the way the image captures a moment and expresses an idea or feeling. I am also interested in how light can create abstract shapes and how the media can interact with the image. The final product is formalized from visually, emotionally, intellectually and physically, exploring, discovering and manipulating the media and content of the work.

Beth Lindenberger is a ceramic artist and educator, with a BFA in Ceramics from the University of Akron. Her sculptural ceramic work, based on cells, microscopic forms and natural objects, has been exhibited locally and nationally. Her teaching includes UA, Kent State-Stark, Cuyahoga Community College, and the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center, and she has worked as an Artist in Residence in Akron and Canton schools.

Lipps grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated Moeller High School in 2001. Lipps attended the school of visual arts at Kent State University from 2001-2005. After leaving Kent State, Lipps joined the Hamilton County Sheriff’s department in July of 2005 and became a corrections officer, and attended the Sheriff’s Police academy in 2007. The newest visual work aligns with bold use of color, playful construction and hand stitching. The cyanotypes are derived from my garden, plants going or being added. I feel my intention is largely a process of visual fixing.
My first volume of poetry Why We Fished has received significant acclaim from the NC Literary Review and the NC Poetry Society. Other poems have appeared in Muleskinner Journal, the Bangalore Review, Poem for Cleveland and Neighborhood Voices.
Tom paints portraits, commissions, landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and outer space scenes. He also creates art machines using living mobiles, light guiding devices, whirly-gigs, biogenetics to paint with, math formulas for profile generation, mobiles of cut out silhouettes and marble sculpting. Tom is driven to create. He started as a portrait painter because he could quickly get a likeness and emulate the old masters now he paints what he or his clients want.
