The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.
For more information, contact Kathy Signorino, artist programs director, at kathy.signorino@oac.ohio.gov or 614-728-6140.

I am a Cincinnati native. With the exception of my years studying in Chicago, I spent my career as an Art educator in Cincinnati. My teaching experience was diverse and driven by my own love of making Art and sharing my passion of the creative process. It was always important for me to remain active as an artist in the local community by participating  in shows as much as I could while teaching.

Retired from teaching, I am now fully immersed in my own work and exhibiting. I have been engaged in Encaustic painting and Coldwax painting for more than 30 years. I am a member of the Encaustic Art Institute of New Mexico.

Mia Turi is an Ohio-born painter working in oils who recently relocated back to her home state after living in Nevada for over 25 years.
