The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

About Russian Duo

Russian Duo is an international project, born out of a love of traditional music and classical elegance. Oleg Kruglyakov is a Siberian balalaika virtuoso and Terry Boyarsky is an American concert pianist. Russian Duo explores music for balalaika and piano, performing a remarkable genre of compositions written for this formerly pagan three-stringed, triangular instrument. Programs also include classical music, folk songs, music by Ukrainian composers, tango, bluegrass, Soviet film music, and our arrangements of ragtime. Russian Duo is dedicated to educational outreach and believes it is vital to demonstrate the importance of cross-cultural collaboration to the younger generation through music and dance workshops, assemblies and residencies.

Education and Outreach

As our world becomes more global, we believe it is vital to demonstrate the importance of international collaboration on a cultural level to our younger generation.

Russian Duo creates educational concerts, workshops, and residencies based on musicianship, curriculum, and teamwork. Terry and Oleg are on on the Ohio Teaching Artist Roster.  Terry is a licensed Dalcroze Eurhythmics teacher, is certified in Orff-Schulwerk, and was trained by the Kennedy Center for the Arts “Artists as Educators” program.  Oleg has toured in 45 of the United States and has taught workshops in conjunction with concerts.  All programs are aligned with the Common Core Curriculum and state standards.
