The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

Ren Ahuja is a visual artist whose work dances between impressionism, expressionism, and abstraction—layering oils and acrylics into pieces that communicate what words cannot.

A lifelong creator, Ren has worked full-time in the art industry since 2012, with experience spanning global gallery representation, art licensing, and gallery ownership. In 2020, she shifted her primary focus to the online art market, expanding her reach while maintaining her deep connection to collectors.

Beyond her studio work, Ren mentors artists in building sustainable online income streams, blending creative passion with business strategy. She views art as an energetic exchange—each piece designed to inspire, elevate, and live meaningfully within the spaces it inhabits.

Artist Statement

I create art for women who are building beautiful lives — raising families, leading businesses, and showing up fully in the world — yet rarely have the time to search endlessly for artwork that truly reflects who they are.

My paintings move between impressionism, expressionism, and abstraction, blending oils and acrylics into pieces that hold both strength and softness. I work closely with collectors to remove the pressure of “finding the perfect piece” and instead offer artwork that feels aligned, intentional, and powerful.

To me, art is energy. When a woman places one of my pieces in her home, it becomes more than decoration — it becomes a daily reminder of her voice, her values, and her presence. Her home becomes a sanctuary that restores her, not just a space she manages.

Owning original work is not about status or excess. It is about surrounding yourself with something unique that quietly reflects your power — without apology.
