The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Randall Oldrieve
Bio
Randall Oldrieve is an impassioned, maniacal explorer. He doodled his way into the field of art as a virtual savant in math and science. Because of this crossover, he blends an empirical curiosity with intuition.
Randall Oldrieve’s background is as wildly adventurous as his extensive body of artwork. His path has meandered from one venue to the next in a mind-numbing array of institutions from schools to art related jobs. His horizon expanded to scenic art at a community theater, which lead to making art on a whole different scale. Randy would go on to travel the country painting murals through a few companies as well as freelance
One certainly gets the sense that Randy is collaborating with any given medium. This has resulted in an appreciation for the unique character of each component. Through it all, Randy maintains that he is manipulating the various substances in an expressive, painterly fashion, whether it be in a two or three dimensional format. He is constantly on the lookout for things that can augment the actualization of his vision quest, including but not limited to man-influenced materials collected on a beach that he refers to as anthropogenic shards to molten glass, steel, stone, paint, polyethylene plastic bags, or simply an intriguing artifact found on a curb.
.Randall Oldrieve has the audacity to claim that he is taking dictation from the Universe during his near fugue states while in the process of creation! Hah!
