Born Cincinnati July 20, 1958
Attended Wyoming City Schools (Cincinnati Ohio) K-12
1977-81 Attended Ohio University Athens Ohio BFA Photography, Certificate Art Education, Minor in Art History.
1980 Intense Study Maine Photographic Institute, Rockport Maine.
Employment: Franklin County Mr.DD. Columbus Ohio. 1976-1990 Residential Manager, Recreation Specialist.
Retired Disabled.
Artist Statement
Paul D. Wilbur is a fine art photographer working in and around Central Ohio. He was retired (disabled Bipolar) from his profession many years ago,and took up photography after around 20 years of inactivity. He quickly regained his love for his Art. Mr. Wilbur’s work is often influenced by his moods. It is often dark and moody. He uses emotion in his work. Light and darks, Circular motion and leading lines are important to Paul’s work. Wilbur loves to show in the Central Ohio area. He is known in the Columbus Art Scene.
