Cleveland Native, and local artist, Dayzwhun started his art career in the city of Cleveland
At the age of 13 yrs old, when he did his first mural for a neighborhood business. His early journey
began as an graffiti artist around the city, painting on abandoned buildings and the city’s Red Line
which was the transit between many neighborhoods from East Cleveland, Downtown, and the city’s
West side. For an artist like Dayzwhun it served as an open to the public street gallery viewed by
1000s of commuters daily. As he matured, in age, his projects did as well; at 17 yrs of age he was
The first artist to paint a mural in it the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Museum, he has also painted murals
In Selma, Alabama for the Voting Rights Tour and currently has various murals throughout the city
Of Cleveland; full of color and visual inspirational, alongside community development, painting
the walls around town, through art is his way to beautify the landscape in the neighborhoods ;
This is his contribution; this is his canvas. Dayzwhun is diverse in several trades, tools and
mediums, including acrylics, watercolor, and aerosol paints, graphic design and other digital
platforms, as well as Carpentry.
Dayzwhun has displayed his artwork in the Jacks Casino, several art shows at the
Deep Roots Experience gallery located on the city’s East side. As well as Metro Hospital,
Local schools and art galleries in Cleveland. He has featured work in art galleries in Atlanta, Georgia,
New Haven, Ct, and San Francisco, Ca. As the son of a Teacher, He has worked with several youth
development programs, As a mentor and role model for young inspiring artist.
Dayzwhun also has been a local tattoo artist, Since 2005 . In 2012 he opened Red Lion Tattoo,
this respectable business serves as a Art gallery and a staple in the art community.
