The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
Misty is an Ohioan living in the Dayton area. Painting became more of a regular hobby for her during the pandemic years. She had been admiring the local artists on display at the Yellow Cab community space and wishing to one day share her own creations.
She is now a member of the Dayton Society of Artists and has shown paintings at multiple events and in local businesses.
Her style is as varied as her taste, ranging from abstract to landscape with some whimsical imaginative pieces.
Much of her art is influenced by nature, daily life and travel. However, some are directly related to music, inspired by lyrics or feelings. You can view one such commissioned work as the album cover art for the single, “Mont Blanc Massif” by the band We Met In Paris.
Artist Statement
I enjoy creating paintings for myself and have the honor of sharing them with others. It pleases me to no end to find that others also enjoy them and place them in their own spaces.
