The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement
Nature is my happy place. Whenever I’m feeling anxious, sad, distracted, tired or any other not so positive emotion I go for a walk in the outdoors. It calms me, focuses my brain and energizes my body.
I create landscape paintings that take you there. Walk into golden fields of swaying grasses toward the distant shade of a tree for a sense of calm. Step into the light of an evening sun illuminating rich red oak trees forming long shadows for a boost of energy. Take a stroll down a nostalgic country road on a summer’s day past fields with rustic fences. Stop to rest under a tall tree with dappled light and contemplate a happy memory. Those environments bring me joy as does creating art that embodies them.
