The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Freelance artist/ IllustratorBio
Much of my childhood was growing up on the southern Michigan border, but I currently reside in Perrysburg, OH. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawing and painting. I never had to worry about what I wanted to be when I grew up, because I always knew I wanted to be in the arts field. I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in 2009 and have been doing various traditional and digital painting for my own pleasure, and also for others who commission my work. I’ve also always been interested in costuming and prop making, and have done so in in my free time for years. After getting a job at LifeFormations, it greatly expanded my knowledge on mold making, sculpting, sewing, airbrushing, and many other professional creative industry techniques. We worked for many high profile clients such as Disney, DreamWorks, Warner Bros, and various historical museums around the world. I’m starting to use this knowledge in my own artistic endeavors now, by making art dolls, detailed costume pieces, and digital illustrations.
Artist Statement
I am a geeky artist trying to bring out and show the audience what I love, artistically. I work in almost every medium including: acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, pencil, sculpture and digital. My favorite medium to work in currently is digitally on my iPad Pro using Procreate. And while I love fantasy/sci-fi art, I work well in pretty much every genre. Dragons and monsters are my favorite creatures to design as I enjoy using my knowledge of anatomy, and lighting/shading in fantastic creatures. Even if I’m drawing a dragon, I think it’s crucial to give as much detail as possible to actually make my vision seem real. That is my goal as an artist.
