The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement
Clinton Wood artist statement 2021
I am entranced by commonplace architecture and its existence within – and intrusion upon – the natural world. Adapting the clean, geometric vocabulary of Cubist and Precisionist painters, I explore the structural relationship of both boundaries and connections between the built environment and the organic nature that surrounds or is surrounded by it. I add rich color to reveal the true intensity of these ordinary places.
