The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement

No one is given a blueprint of life, yet everyone thinks they are sure of where they want to go.  The stories I create through poetry serve as lessons learned while growing as a person with the understanding that things can always change which give people like me hope to keep moving forward and not giving up.  Every day we see it yet many become numb to it because we become consumed with the fallout we are left to deal with from previous bad decisions.  Storytelling helps people to see that even the once deniable can and sometimes will become undeniable. There is beauty in the overlooked and unseen as they reveal the art of connection in the lines that are weaved in between the lines that bind everything.
