The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Veena Bansal, a resident of Columbus, Ohio for 50 yesrs, is an experienced artist creating a blend of figurative, landscapes and floral paintings with abstract influences, her mixed media work is the result of her past experienc-she was an avid art student growing up in India. Exhibits her work in Marcia Evans gallery in short north district.
She did decorative work in peoples homes-and the challanges that come with trying to make a life in a new place. Even as she was doing work for others, employing the ultra traditional technique she learned in India, she was pushing, exploring. In her words, maturing.
