The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
My collage work is rooted in storytelling—personal, layered, and emotionally textured. I work with fragments: torn paper, painted elements, old book pages, bits of fabric, forgotten photographs. These materials carry a history, and in bringing them together, I create new narratives—ones that reflect memory, longing, and the quiet persistence of joy.
My art is not about perfection but about process—about feeling my way through. I learned this in the studio of my late mentor, Jon Wahling, where we painted side by side, day after day. It was there I discovered the discipline of daily making and the sacred rhythm of showing up for the work, even when it felt impossible.
As an older artist living with disability, art has become both a spiritual practice and a form of resistance. Each piece is an act of presence—a reminder that we are still here, still dreaming, still making beauty out of what remains. I hope that when someone stands in front of my work, they don’t think, “What a great artist,” but instead feel something stir in themselves.
