Bio
Creating art is my passion. Painting with oil and acrylics. I am also a photographer.
Artist Statement
I am an outsider artist, however I have taken some classes at Jack Richards’s studio. I started painting just abstract’s and then just kept adding different items to paint. I use oil and acrylic. When working with oil, I am reminded of a world full of wonderful color whether it is an abstract of paradise distorted or an impressionistic landscape of a magical land in dreams of amazing colors: in the end it’s all worth the effort. Oil is by far my favorite medium. To me painting is a just, a spectacular freedom of expression.
My inspiration came form impressionist painting of Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet. My favorite painting of Monet’s is the spectacular Water Lilies Green Reflection, and Van Gogh’s Sunflowers. These works typify the peace and joy I hope to share with my paintings.
