The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement

My work  is an integral part of who I am and how I view the world around me. To me, art is an element of thought and education as well as communication. I strive for the exemplary in every piece I complete, from the execution of a child in graphite all the way to a large canvas in oil.

I feel my work is contextually dependent on elements of the past, inclusive of Greek Mythology, History and my personal past. I always desire to use my work as an educational and inspirational tool. I am always willing and quite fond of speaking to children and adults about art, creativity and the creative process.

My desire is to see interaction with others as an equally important part of each piece I create. Art to me is about the work of art, the viewer and the viewer’s response, and the space in between where the interaction  happens.
