The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
Ramon Rivas II wears many hats as an artist who calls Cleveland home. Rivas is an accomplished & accredited humorist with stand up work on Comedy Central, HBOMax and Sirius/XM. He also produces ambient instrumental music with several releases available across streaming platforms. Ramon maintains a role as a mentor and advocate for spoken word artists in the great Cleveland area in addition to his efforts community building thru live performance engagements.
Artist Statement
Whether it’s bringing prolific national artist Roy Wood Jr. to the Clark-Fulton area for a series of shows at Dunlap’s Corner Bar, curating and hosting the comedy programming at The St. Clair Arts Fest, developing new concepts at Cleveland Public Theatre’s SoftLaunch, or building community through live events at Superior Pho, Brown Hoist Cider and more, Rivas has maintained a mission of building community through equitable, entertaining, accessible arts programming year round.
