The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

Policy is an accomplished drummer/percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, studio session player, actor, recording engineer, producer, DJ and music business consultant. Mark has studied drums with Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Ringo Starr), Anton Fig (The David Letterman Show), Dave Weckl (Chick Corea) and attended the Los Angeles Community College Arts program. Following in his family’s footsteps, Mark has recorded and toured all over the U.S. and Canada with recording credits in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Cleveland and Nashville. Mark’s television acting credits include “Power Rangers”, “Lois and Clark”, Showtime Networks movie “Next Door”(Featuring Academy Award Winner James Woods) and the original 90210. Awards include Guitar Center’s Drum Off Contest 2014 winner “Best Drummer”, ASCAPlus Award for new artist/co-songwriter and Best Regional Band “Dirt”. Recently Policy has been nominated by the Hollywood Music in Media Awards for Best Producer/Production for his hit single “Reality (Feat. Tina Shest) from his debut album titled “Echo Chambers”. “Reality” also won Best Electronic Song from Akedemia Music Awards  out of Los Angeles, CA  and was a runner up for Song of the Year 2020.
