The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement

My work is rooted in the concept of “immortal relationships”—the enduring bonds that connect humans to one another, to animals, and to the natural world. I am deeply interested in how these relationships shape our lives, our cultures, and our collective sense of belonging. Through my paintings, I explore these interwoven connections and reflect on the ways they sustain and define us.

The guiding theme of my practice, “Integrity with Nature,” reflects my belief that nature is essential to our survival and well‑being. Nature nurtures, nourishes, and protects us, offering both physical sustenance and profound aesthetic beauty. My work seeks to honor this relationship while emphasizing our responsibility to care for the environment that sustains us.

In many of my pieces, I incorporate written reflections to express my emotional connection to the natural world and to highlight the urgency of environmental stewardship. By portraying vegetation, landscapes, and symbolic forms, I aim to reveal the necessity of nurturing nature in all its expressions.

Ultimately, my art is an invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with ourselves, with each other, and with the living world that surrounds us.
