The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement

Born with a love for the natural world, I am drawn to the atmosphere and design elements found in nature. Painting allows me to express this love. My motifs are made through shapes, tones, and color relationships.

I appreciate the plasticity and forgiving nature of oil paint.  I modulate between using a palette knife and hog bristle brushes of various sizes to make brush strokes.  From imagination, to sketchbook, to canvas, my concepts are constructed.  Each painting is a window into a vision of discovered harmonies and nuances.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting in 2018 to become a fine artist.  I feel that a part of me is finally able to be expressed.  It gives me satisfaction to share my inspiration.  Art speaks a universal language sensed with the eyes.
