The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

Moss Nash is an artist, printmaker, and papermaker located in Athens, Ohio.

Through the repetition of hand-drawn images and patterns, motifs, bold colors, and text, their work focuses on building mythologies and narratives while navigating personal identities. In addition, their practice also includes material exploration, often using found and reclaimed materials in their work.

Their most recent body of work is a series of 22″x28″ sheets of handmade paper, each a unique collection of ephemera, prints, fiber, and discarded produce packaging, combining to create assemblages that are both pre-planned and spontaneous in composition.
