The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
Michelle Renee Garrison was born on Valentine’s Day and grew up in Worthington, Ohio. Her interest in art began at an early age while attending youth classes at Columbus College of Art and Design. As a student at Thomas Worthington High School, she began to exhibit her paintings competitively at both local and state levels. After high school, she lived in both Arizona and Oregon and continued to show her works at local galleries. Upon returning to Ohio, she began to work in a variety of mediums, one of which was Origami, a skill she learned from a Japanese childhood friend. She has since shown her work at local galleries during Gallery Hop in Columbus and has donated her paintings for various charity events. Michelle’s artistic pursuits continue to evolve and is looking to showcase her work more locally and nationally.
