The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
I moved to the Toledo-area 12 years ago from New York City to start my own design studio in my Whitehouse, Ohio home. Originally from Urbana, Ohio, I am a 2001 Graphic Design graduate from the University of Cincinnati. I have been the graphic designer for over ten years for the Toledo Opera’s annual season poster series. I also work as a creative director and design consultant for Smashburger restaurants, as well as boutique restaurants in Denver, Tempe, Chicago, Charlotte, Napa, and Detroit. I have won 19 ADDY Awards, been featured in 6 different design annuals and magazines, and was a finalist for a James Beard award in Outstanding Restaurant Graphics. I serve on the Board of Governors for the American Advertising Federation of Toledo and on their Mosaic Committee to achieve diverse representation in the advertising industry, and am the President of the Board of Directors for Bittersweet Autism Foundation in Whitehouse, Ohio.
Artist Statement
My passion for my design and illustration has always been to create unforgettable experiences. In all my art, I find myself pushing for those unexpected and whimsical details. I love to explore what’s been done and do things completely the opposite. I pride myself in being told I can’t do something and then figuring it out anyhow. I am content to be all combinations of weird, bold, passionate, and adventurous.
