The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Inspired by intricate line work and soft color, Megs handcrafts whimsical one of a kind ceramic pieces from her studio in Columbus, Ohio. For the past few years Megs has been producing and developing the Botanical Collection which uses traditional hand-building techniques, Terra Sigillata, and multiple glaze layers, each piece is handcrafted for beauty and function.
By being interested in the small snip bits of beauty found in everyday life, Megs finds that handmade pottery of a joyous nature reflexes those everyday rituals of elegance. The Botanical Collection of handmade pottery is inspired by vintage fabric, mid century dishes, and the playfulness of street art; reminiscent geometric and organic patterns in nature. By incorporating bouncing lines, low relief, and pastel hues juxtaposed with volumetric forms Megs able to create evocative and visually upbeat unique handmade goods.
Megs earned her BFA with a focus in Ceramics and sculpture from Columbus College of Art & Design as well as attending short-term residencies and workshops at Penland School of Crafts.
