The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

Howdy,

I love to tell stories.

Born in Appalachia along the Ohio river to a construction worker and cleaning lady, I disappointed my parents early by wanting to become an artist.

After studying art at Miami University I moved to Columbus and have been creating work in this city every since.

I was lucky to be part of the original 83 gallery and rode that wave for years. Often touring playing music, when I would return to Ohio there was always an interesting opportunity to create something beautiful in this town.

Currently I tattoo daily, paint weekly, and tour much less often.

A day without making art is an empty room.
