The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
Maria Palatsky is a fine art and food photographer based in Columbus, Ohio.
Maria has earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in photography from Columbus State Community College, Ohio. And she has been photographing professionally since 2019.
Maria fell in love with photography after she received a camera as a gift. Later in school she learned how to develop film and make prints in a darkroom.
Maria has always been drawn to fine art and always tried to find a way to capture beauty in any subject. For many years she had that passion for still life, food and portraits. She chose a moody style of Chiaroscuro. Some of her photographs are in vintage style and some are more contemporary, but they all have darker tones in common.
Maria’s art was exhibited in a few countries abroad.

Also, a still life displayed in Union Café on campus of Columbus State Community College, Ohio.
