Artist Statement
I work almost exclusively in One-shot oil lettering enamel. This paint was originally designed to hand-letter signs but is currently employed in the auto industry for pin-striping cars and motorcycles. Sign painter’s enamel offers self-leveling, bright color but has a short working time and peculiar mixing characteristics. My style is wholly due to following its strengths and weaknesses wherever they lead.
