The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
I retired from a long career in healthcare and picked up the watercolor painting I’d done sporadically over many years. I was lucky to participate in Springmaid Beach Watermedia Workshops with Don Andrews, Barbara Nechis, Frank Webb and Fred Graff. More recently, thanks to the Central Ohio Watercolor Society, I’ve learned a lot, and made friends. Since the pandemic, I’ve hosted booths at art fairs in Ohio, Michigan, Colorado and California, and participated in an exhibition at the Carousel de Louvre in Paris. Such amazing experiences! Currently, I paint for fun, posting on Instagram and Facebook. I really love doing commissions – pets, homes, boats, vacations, people.
