The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
I am a multidisciplinary artist, author, songwriter and teacher driven by curiosity and experimentation. I am learning how to effectively embrace and manage the multidiscipline of various methods and materials of visual arts, songwriting and storytelling. I enjoy adding interactive components that encourages the viewer or audience to interact with the piece in some fashion when possible. This idea of art that awakens several senses or has some sort of functionality is rewarding and continually challenges me. I do 2d, 3d, relief work, sculptures and am working into installation pieces. Shadows, depth and layers play an important role in many of my pieces. I am a lifelong learner and in turn, teach classes to pass along whatever I can. I deeply enjoy alone time, but also find energy and joy from sharing, collaborating, and supporting others.
Artist Statement
My influences are the interconnectivity of nature, science, and psychology. I use a diverse array of materials in attempts to convey the things I am most intrigued by – movement, fluidity, depth, texture, transparency, layers and shadows. Particularly how shadows can become part of the artwork itself and change at different angles and light sources. And though my work styles vary greatly they are all connected by these aspects.
