The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

Josh Zielinski is a photographer, writer, and amateur historian based in Southeast Ohio. A graduate of Ohio University, Josh photographs a range of subjects, including architecture, natural and human landscapes, wildlife, and human-interest scenes. With a sincere passion for history, Josh invests much time in documenting our state’s heritage sites through photography, historical research, and writing. Farms and other aspects of the Ohio countryside are given particular attention. Josh has previously exhibited work at the Southeast Ohio History Center (Athens, Ohio) in 2024, as well as at The Dairy Barn Arts Center (Athens, Ohio) in 2022 and 2024. His primary artistic pursuit at this time is documenting historic farms in the Hocking Valley, which he hopes to compile into a book at the project’s completion.
