The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement

Painting-it’s a dance of color, hue and pigment turning a blank canvas or board into an image. I capture a moment in time of the subject that I am painting. Primarily  a realistic painter my style may also be whimsical. Acrylic paint, airbrush and fine brush are my medium of choice used to create a likeness of a subject, an animal, a tree or a figure for example.

I want to inspire those who view my art to see the world around them. My goal is perfection in capturing the minute details of each subject inviting the viewer to appreciate the subject at a level they may not have anticipated.
