The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

Art is as important to me as is breathing. It is so important to be creative in as many areas of my life as is possible.

I have degrees in fine art and art education and a Master of Public Administration degree. I oversee the areas of art and education in my work life.

Currently, I am focusing on nature photography. My other art loves include mixed media, abstract art, decoupage, calligraphy and upcycled art.

I love exploring and focusing on beauty around me in close up photography, landscapes, flowers, clouds, colors overlapping and in areas I have not yet discovered.

Art matters. Creativity makes life full. I am blessed to have art in my life.

Artist Statement

Exploring in nature and in art is invaluable to me. I love inspiring others to share their creativity in creative writing, photography, and in art in general. I love sharing interesting compositions and beauty. There is beauty in the eyes of animals, in the beauty of a flower, in the flight of an eagle and in the running of horses. I want to inspire, share and encourage others to find peace in art and in beauty. Art is living with creativity in every breath.
