The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

My name is Isaac Beverly, I am 31 years old, and I am from Chillicothe, Ohio. I have a wonderful family with a loving Mother and Father along with three older brothers. I played sports throughout my youth and all the way to colligate level. However, my passion for art came after college where I attended Tiffin University. There wasn’t much of a mystery to how I started to paint. I basically decided in 2018 that I wanted to become a painter (expressionist to be exact). I enjoyed seeing my dad paint and when I wasn’t admiring my dad’s oil paintings, I would enjoy the art all around me. Soon enough I wanted to create.

Artist Statement

I discovered that I want my journey to be expressed through the bristles of the paint brush. In fact, one of my favorite quotes is from a famous Artist Edward Hopper “if I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint.”
