The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Helen Taylor
Artist/Sculptor Goodwill Art StudioBio
Helen loves working as big as she can when it comes to art! She loves to create animal inspired pieces with a wide range of materials. Helen is a multimedia artist, not afraid to use fabric, found objects, paper, pastels, acrylic and paper mache to create her masterpieces. She is always thinking about how best to give her “babies” a good home when she sets out to sell pieces. Helen got her start in the creative field when she joined the Goodwill Art Studio. With help from staff she’s been able to gain confidence and faith in her work. Her biggest push has been when her piece titled The Beast, a large sculpture inspired by The Beauty and The Beast, was bought and sold. Helen says her motivation for making art is her creation of animals in their many forms helps her feel youthful and joyful in a world that has increasingly become tougher. She uses her positivity to shine a light at the Goodwill Art Studio everyday.
