The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
Gwen grew up in the South and transplanted to Ohio in the 80’s. Textiles, mainly fiber and cloth have been the medium of choice. She has had work at The Ohio Arts and Craft Museum, The Columbus Museum, The Columbus Cultural Arts Center, The Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibit, The Shot Gallery, The Upper Arlington Cultural Arts Center, and public spaces and private collections throughout Ohio and Geogia.
Fabric collage and mark making are my main interests. I work by hand to give me tactile satisfaction and connection to the work. I work intuitively and let the impact of emotions and daily life move directly from heart to hand.
