The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. For more information, contact Kathy Signorino, artist programs director, at email@example.com or 614-728-6140.
Grace Elisabeth Frank was born in Bedford, Ohio, in 1985.
She began her career as an artist by painting the family television entirely orange. Since then, she has not stopped creating art in various forms. Grace often uses acrylic paints to capture beautiful and colorful landscapes and local wildflowers. She has also been praised for her work with paper and glue creating masks and whimsical paper scenes. Miss Frank has had numerous showings of her art in pop-up galleries all over Cleveland. Grace has lived in many places worldwide and, in the past, has enjoyed traveling to find inspiration for her art. She has painted murals in Northern Ireland, cat portraits in Turkey, and giant sandwiches in the desert.
In her more recent years, Grace has been dedicated to finding the beauty right where she is. She currently resides in Old Brooklyn, Ohio.
I want my art to give people beautiful feelings of joy, hope, love, and excitement. My unique perspective as a person allows me to portray that joy in paint. I like to use my art to show people that ordinary things like weeds or wildflowers can have a shining golden layer of beauty to them if only you look at them from the right perspective. I think of my art as an experiment in alchemy.
