The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

Hello my name is Destiny Moore I am from Los Angeles, CA. I was a flight attendant for two years and have moved around quite a bit. Although I am from the West coast I have mainly moved all over the east/Midwest. I was based in Washington DC and Philadelphia for about a year each and then made my final move shortly after COVID to Cleveland, Ohio in 2021. I enjoy all forms of art but I thrive most and have the most passion for photography. I love to shoot a variety of different subjects ranging from landscapes, still life, and family life. 
 
 
 
 

Artist Statement

 Hello, my name is Destiny Moore. I’m based in Cleveland, Ohio.  My prior experience includes being a fashion photography intern for Ricochet Wearable Arts, as well as serving as a wedding photographer, and published in NPR check out the article    – https://www.npr.org/2020/12/03/941449297/becoming-isis-tha-saviour
I was included as an honorable mention for the minimalism art show for my piece titled “In A Daze” in Ten Moir gallery https://tenmoirgallery.com/minimalism-art-exhibition-december-2023/. I have a great eye for the overlooked things, and the beauty of simplicity. I have lived in Los Angeles, the Bay Area,  Cleveland, Washington D.C. and Sydney, Australia, which has given me a unique experience and has shaped the way I approach photography. I was recently the spotlight artist for July 2024 at the Heights Art Gallery https://www.heightsarts.org/blog/spotlight-destiny-moore/ 

I love to capture subjects and scenes that convey a story, landscapes in particular are my favorite however, I am open to shooting anything. I hope you enjoy my artwork.
