The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
Ryan Gilreath is a designer and maker based in Hamilton, Ohio, and the founder of PRWMade, a small independent studio crafting wooden jewelry, home goods, and keepsakes. PRW stands for Parker Ryan Woodworking, a nod to family and the hands that make the work. Ryan pairs laser engraving and digital design with hand finishing and traditional shop skills to produce pieces that feel personal, useful, and built to last.
Materials and impact matter. Ryan works with responsibly sourced hardwoods and packages jewelry in seed paper that grows wildflowers. Each purchase contributes to reforestation efforts, ocean cleanup, and carbon removal. The studio keeps waste low, favors small runs, and treats every object as a chance to connect people through thoughtful design.
PRWMade’s aesthetic blends clean geometry with the warmth of wood. Influences include Art Deco forms, park and trail signage, and everyday tools that age well in the hand. The catalog ranges from earrings and pendants to bookmarks, keychains, coasters, and laser engraved wooden greeting cards. Whether a custom gift or a small daily carry, the goal is the same: create work that is honest, durable, and meaningful.
Artist Statement
I make useful objects from real wood because the things we touch every day should feel good, work well, and last. My practice lives where digital and analog meet. I sketch and lay out designs on screen, then bring them to life with laser engraving, careful shaping, sanding, and hand finishing. I like clean lines, readable type, and quiet geometry that lets the material speak.
Sustainability is part of every choice in my shop. I use responsibly sourced hardwoods, keep production small, and package jewelry in seed paper that can be planted. With each purchase, PRWMade supports tree planting, carbon removal, and ocean cleanup. I want the life of an object to be longer than the trend cycle and lighter on the planet.
