The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist CPSart LLCBio
Being creative has brought me joy since I was a little girl. It wasn’t just fine art creativity either but also engaging, and competing, in the art of Irish dance for 25+ years. I embraced these distractions from real life and appreciated, then and now, how being creative took me out of my own head and into the magic of the present moment. I could not have imagined that one day the passion I feel for creating could be more than just a hobby or side hustle. Ever since I have embraced art as my path forward in life it has become not only what supports me financially but also energetically and spiritually.
My creative path has never been linear. I went through many phases from drawing, colored pencils, markers, painting & printmaking to ceramics, sculpture, woodworking and many more. After graduating from Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) in 2009 I was unclear about which direction to put my time and talent toward. However, without the facilities and labs that CCAD offered, painting felt like the most practical focus even for someone as unconventional as I consider myself to be. I tried on a number of art jobs from tie-dying for a local print company, sculpture, hosting paint and wine events, illustrations and faux finish just to name a few, while also working in restaurants and eventually landing as the GM of Blick Art Materials for many years. Eventually my passion and the itch to ditch convention took over completely and I left my corporate retail job in 2021.
While waitressing at a jazz club in Columbus in 2007 I developed a strong working relationship with the owners which led to a number of commissioned pieces being completed for their restaurants. I still maintain this work-ship and now have paintings in 19 restaurants across Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama.
My style continues to grow and change as do I. Today my collection of paintings vary from portraits of famous individuals, abstract and graffiti-inspired pieces, pet portraits and numerous meaningful commissions. I feel a strong connection to every piece I paint and the stories each conveys. I continue to be grateful for all of life’s blessings and burdens that inspire my passion for creating.
