The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement
I am a predominantly visual artist working in Columbus Ohio. I do business under the name ICHORTOWN as a reference to the setting that I have created for a majority of my paintings.
My work is heavily inspired by gothic and cosmic horror as well as the works of modern horror artists like Masahiro Ito. I also bring a great deal of my history within working class Central Appalachia as a theme of many of my works. My guiding philosophy as an artist is to find “Dignity for the Monstrous”. To me the monster is a being like any other and deserves respect and dignity and above all else, an attempt at understanding. Therefore the creatures I made are not in and of themselves malicious, only in need of an understanding eye.
In my day to day I am a youth focused library worker and do my best to help young children and teens find their own creativity by promoting literacy and doing my own art lessons for teens at my branch.
