The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. For more information, contact Kathy Signorino, artist programs director, at kathy.signorino@oac.ohio.gov or 614-728-6140.

Bio
The artist known as, Cam (Short for Camara), has been creating different types of art for the last 39 years. From an early age, her talents were recognized by art teachers, who nurtured her natural abilities.
As a mother of 7 children, Cam would make their costumes and latex prosthetics along with airbrushing face paint. Dabbling in woodworking, Epoxy resin, crocheting and other categories of art, Cam has always taken the “out of the box” approach to her work.
Currently, as an empty nester, Cam has found time to dedicate to painting on canvas, her first and favorite art form. Being someone who suffers from bipolar disorder, Cam now uses her love of painting as a therapeutic resource that she hopes can give joy to the observer!
Artist Statement
I was born an artist, as was everyone. I just made a conscious decision to NEVER stop making art. Art is NOT my life, it SAVED my life!
