The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

I’m Caleb Thomas, the artist behind Caleb Thomas Art LLC, specializing in live wedding paintings, live guest portraits, and custom oil paintings on canvas. I was raised in Dayton, Ohio, and now call Columbus, Ohio home — though my work takes me all across Ohio and beyond to paint at live events.
Artist Statement
In my opinion, I have the best job in the entire world! There have been many times I’ve had a guest compare my work to the stick figures that they’re able to draw or had someone ask to be penciled into the couple’s wedding painting, but my laugh is genuine every time. And that’s because I can truly say that I’m having the time of my life at every celebration. I’d also like to mention that I’m so grateful to YOU! Whether you’ve followed my work for a while now or you’re just now considering me to create art for you, I’m absolutely humbled by your support. I wouldn’t be able to have this job if it wasn’t for you — so, from the bottom of my heart — THANK YOU! 🙏
