The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement
21st Century Sculptor
Art has been produced by man since prehistoric times and has crossed all cultures. The Artist as visionary has existed within all societies. The Artist creates according to the cultures needs and the intensity of the Artists creative fire. The Artist is a transmitter of his personal life experiences blended with the influences of the world’s circumstances. The forces are manifested into a real time work of Art that exists independent of the Artist. The Art then represents the vision message, expression or philosophy, for current and future audiences to behold. As an artist, I felt a responsibility to develop knowledge of the history of art, to master techniques, to enter into a communion with materials and to open and evolve one’s ability to express. As an artist, I believe I am a link in a chain that runs throughout history from our Distant past weaving into the matrix of the future for future audiences to behold.
