The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Breanna Cole
Illustrator & Jeweler BCCsArt Studio LLCBio
Breanna is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans illustration, jewelry-making, and digital media. Her practice blends classical elegance with contemporary expression, often exploring themes of identity, nature, and the connections between art, memory, and the natural world. Working across both fine art and wearable design, she approaches each piece with intentional craftsmanship and an ongoing curiosity about how materials can tell stories.
Drawing influence from classical antiquities, botanical forms, and the intersections of art and science, Breanna creates work that encourages viewers to slow down and observe the beauty found in small, everyday moments. Her botanical resin jewelry, crafted by using real flowers, leaves, and natural elements, reflects her commitment to honoring organic materials and preserving them through sustainable, hands-on methods. By transforming these elements into quality pieces, she celebrates the cycles of growth, decay, and renewal that continuously shape both nature and the human experience.
Beyond her studio practice, Breanna is committed to cultivating inclusive and accessible creative spaces. As the founder of her LLC and an active participant in community arts initiatives, she champions opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage meaningfully with the arts. Through teaching, programming, and collaborative projects, she strives to inspire others to explore their own creativity and discover new ways of expressing themselves. Across all of her work, Breanna aims to illuminate the extraordinary within the ordinary. Her multidisciplinary practice highlights subtle details, honors lived experiences, and embraces the enduring connections between art, nature, and personal expression.
Artist Statement
As a Cincinnati-based artist, I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Miami University (2020) and a Graphic Design Certification from the New York Institute of Art + Design (2022). I am pursuing my Masters in Business Administration as of Fall 2026. My practice blends fine art and nature-inspired jewelry-making, reflecting a commitment to continual exploration and authentic craftsmanship.
Through Renaissance in Bloom, my solo exhibition in May 2026, I reclaim classical traditions to center underrepresented figures, restoring visibility where it has been historically denied, while pairing visual art with wearable botanical forms. Guided by faith and sustainable practices, I preserve and transform flowers, leaves, and organic elements of nature into creations that honor God’s design and the artistry of human hands.
Inspired by the natural world, my work invites reflection and embodies the extraordinary within the ordinary. Each piece—whether on paper or worn—offers a meditation on the narrative, celebrating authenticity, enduring beauty, and the luxury of handcrafted artistry.
