The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bahar Ghasemi

Bio

Bahar Ghasemi, an Iranian artist based in Cleveland, OH, was born in 1992. Before completing her master’s degree in architecture in Iran, she left her home country. Currently pursuing art studies at Tri-C, Bahar’s creative journey encompasses a diverse range of artistic mediums, including acrylics, watercolor, and markers for painting. Her artistic talents extend to drawing, paper maché, and crafting clay sculptures.

For Bahar, art is not merely a form of creative expression but a delightful means to convey her feelings, emotions, and unique sense of humor. She believes that art has the power to communicate what words alone cannot capture. Bahar’s personal migration experience ignited a deep yearning for meaningful communication, and she found solace and companionship in the art of clay.

Through her exhibitions in both the USA and Iran, Bahar shares untold stories with her audience, using pottery and painting as languages to express her innermost emotions. Her artwork becomes a potent vehicle for connecting with others and sharing her unique experiences, forging a profound connection through the language of art.
