The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement

Over the past decade my artwork has been realized through digital processes with photographic imagery ranging from familial portraits, televisual images, film & nature scenes, and city and seascapes. My paintings and digital works increasingly inform one another, flirting with narrative abstraction to depict “real” world transition and its opaque undertones. The images betray their assumed roles and jettison the idea of photography as documentation. Guazian and ghostlike, they skirt the line between the here and now and can touch upon remembrance. With the world moving in seemingly endless directions, the dizzying pace begs for refuge and a new world built out of the pieces called for and recalled.
